The European Writers’ Council is proud to announce that our federation is starting its own Video Channel at Daily Motion on November 24:

The European Company Dailymotion was created in 2005 in France and is rated as the second largest video platform worldwide. The users upload and share videos and are expressly requested to respect the copyright law. The platform combines usability with high responsibility for authors’ rights and writers’ achievements and is therefore the first choice for us to consistently expand our communication capabilities.

“In addition to the website and official profiles on Twitter and Facebook, the Daily Motion Channel enables the EWC to communicate our aims and additional cultural policy-relevant topics to the public, colleagues and policymakers,” says Nina George, EWC President, “for example, with discussion panels, online conferences and other activities. I am particularly pleased that Daniel Cristea-Enache, EWC Vice-president, is taking charge of this development and I look forward to ideas and cooperation with the EWC members.”

Stay tuned: On 25/11, the channel will launch its first Europe-wide campaign. Information will follow separately.
