Since June 2021 Miguel Àngel Serrano is Vice President of the European Writers’ Council.
Miguel Ángel Serrano was born in Madrid in 1965. He is a novelist, essayist, and poet. He has also a long-lasting career as consultant in communications, leadership, and human resources. Serrano has a Ph. D. in Economic Sciences and Business Administration, and a Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, among other titles and studies related both to business and literature.
As a novelist, he was awarded with the José María de Pereda Short Novel Award, (Government of Cantabria) for the novel Tango. He has published two other novels, two books of poems and a historic essay. He is Secretary General of Asociación Colegial de Escritores de España, a full member of EWC and the main writers’ professional association in Spain.
