ARCHIVE – DAY OF EUROPEAN AUTHORS

For The Day of European Authors-Project EWC participated last in 2026, 25th March 2024,  based on an initiative of the European Commission from 2023, led by Commissioner Gabriel, to reconnect younger generations with book reading and to help them discover the diversity of European literature. The European Writers’ Council (EWC) is co-organising the Tour of European Authors together with the EUPL Consortium. The first Day of European Authors took place on 27 March 2023 with nearly 100 Authors from all over Europe. After 2024 the conditions were drastically changed not really benefitting authors as originators or books any more.
